Under the auspices of prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at Ain Shams University participated in the QS Maple Conference 2020, through video conference technology, with the aim of presenting the university's file and the achievements it has achieved during the past years in the field of international classification in general and QS classification in particular.
This was stated by Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Director of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the University.
She added that during the conference a lecture was given, entitled Defying the norm: anew initiative of ASU to boost internationalization.
Prof. Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Director of the Department of International Relations, Prof. Sherwet Al-Ahmady, Director of the Expatriates Department, Prof. Tamer Al-Nadi, Director of Grants and Projects Department, Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the Graduate Department, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Department at the University attended the conference.
A brief overview of the university’s history and its international classification as an academic institution with a long-standing international reputation was reviewed.
The role of each department in the sector and what it seeks to achieve in terms of a future vision were also reviewed.
