Unit objectives:

 Training of specialized cadres in the field of information systems and the follow-up and transfer of technologies used in that field.

 Cooperating with Egyptian and foreign scientific institutions to carry out research in the field of information technology applications in the field of business education.

 Cooperation with Egyptian and foreign scientific institutions to carry out research in the field of information systems applications in the field of business.

 Participating in developing information systems, office and administrative systems in the college, student affairs, examinations, college libraries, and creating an integrated database at the college level.

 Participate in developing the college’s modern communication systems with the university and its colleges in accordance with the plans decided by the university in this field.

 Providing scientific advice in the fields of developing information systems in educational institutions and management information systems in commercial, industrial and service companies, including the analysis and design of those systems or preparing the necessary application programs for them, in partnership with the Research Center and the concerned affiliated units.

 Providing consultancy and statistical research projects for the benefit of various bodies.

 Providing connection services to the international information network (Internet) to serve faculty members, researchers and college students, by linking to the university's information network.

 Training college staff to use computers to help automate administrative and office work.

 Holding specialized and developed training courses in the field of computer and information technology for students, graduates, and economic agencies and institutions in various accounting, administrative and statistical fields.

 Cooperation with the faculty members of the college to develop and implement plans for the use of information technology and multimedia in the development of the educational process and training students to implement the applied aspects of the curricula using the computer.

 Providing electronic library services in commercial fields in implementation of the programs set by the college to serve faculty members and researchers in developing scientific research methods.

 Providing desktop publishing services to faculty members and researchers for research, notes and scientific books.

 Providing time rental service for computers for college students.

 Providing consultations in the field of statistical analysis of data related to scientific research in various fields.

 Organizing training courses for entities and individuals in various statistical topics using the computer.

 Collecting data and information on public opinion polls.

 Create a database for use in the scientific and practical fields.
