Unit objectives:

First: services

Establishing a high-level medical center specializing in examinations and research related to osteoporosis for the elderly, in order to receive patients referred from different agencies, whether paid or without pay, for patients in need.

Second: Research

Conducting research on this disease to prepare a database and basic information at the national level, as this information is not available and has not been previously prepared.

Third: Training

Contributing to training different cadres from inside and outside the university on diagnostic, prevention and modern treatment methods for osteoporosis, as well as contributing to research required for master's and doctoral theses in this field.
