Formation and Granting Procedures for Academic Degrees

  1. The university's faculties and institutes deliver the registration documents / students registration for the postgraduate stage (diploma-master-Ph.D.).
  2. After completing the final examination or discussing the thesis according to the internal regulations of the colleges and institutes of the university, the results of the final examination or approval of the reports of the arbitrators and the minutes of the discussion will be approved by the college council / institute and sent to the university for approval of grants from the university Board.
  3. After delivering the results and the grants documents to the General Directorate for Postgraduate Studies, the documents are reviewed, the grant memorandum prepared and submitted to the senior management for approval of the grants.
  4. After approval of the grants, the Department will notify the Faculty / Institute of approval to obtain certificates (Diploma - Master - PhD) according to the unified form of postgraduate certificates.
  5. The General Administration of Postgraduate Studies prepares the decision and approval of the Rector.
  6. After the approval of the decision, the original decision is kept in the administration. A copy of the decision is sent to the General Administration for Education and Students Affairs. Form No. (1) is attached to each student containing all his data to extract the original certificates for students within a period of 3 to 5 years.
  7. In case the graduate student wishes to obtain the original certificate in an urgent manner, the student will pay a fee to obtain the certificate within two weeks at the latest.
  8. The Public Administration for Postgraduate Studies from some internal and external bodies is provided with letters to inquire about the validity of postgraduate certificates.
  9. A fee is charged for the validity of the certificate in accordance with the prescribed fees.
  10. The certificate is tracked by the Rector's decisions saved by the administration to ensure the validity of the certificate.
  11. The response to the applicant for authenticity or non-validity of the certificate is prepared in accordance with Form ASU-VPG-PM-43 / F057
  12. The secretary shall send the notes to the presidential offices for approval in the issued and incoming book, as well as receipt of the same memos after their adoption in the same book on Form No. ASU-VPG-PM-43 / F063
  13. The secretary is responsible for internal and external correspondence on the ASU-VPG-PM-43 / F064 model
  14. Customer feedback is taken on Form ASU-VPG-PM-43 / F064.
