Ain Shams University Faculty Staff Club has been one of the active institutions at the university for 65 years. It carries out specific activities to serve the university’s teaching staff, starting from the teaching assistant to the professor, in accordance with its established regulations approved by the former Ministry of Social Affairs and the current Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The activities of the Faculty Staff Club at Ain Shams University range from social in the areas of trips and summer resorts, cultural in organizing political, literary, intellectual and scientific seminars, and residential in providing cemeteries, and building a residential compound dedicated to faculty staff in the Diplomatic Quarter in the New Administrative Capital, as well as the Pioneers Committee in the Council The administration plays an important and effective role, in coordination with the club’s Board of Directors, in honoring the university’s leading figures, especially those receiving state and university awards. The most prominent of these honors last year was honoring Professor Dr. Abdel Wahab Abdel Hafez, former president of Ain Shams University, for assuming the presidency of the Arabic Language Academy. Among the club’s permanent activities, especially in the last ten years, is intertwining with the state’s national projects, supporting them, and visiting the wounded and injured in military and police operations to combat terrorism.
The club's current headquarters is in Heliopolis (38 Al-Thawra Street, in front of Almaza Central - fifth floor), in addition to its administrative headquarters on the university campus behind the Zafaran Palace.
