Prof. Dr. Noha Salem, director of the Center for Papyrus and Inscriptions, met with the official at the Papyrus Center in Berlin, Marius Gerhardt, in order to develop joint work plans for the development of researchers in the fields of papyrus and restoration during the next phase.

The meeting was the result of the activities of the Seventh International Forum of Fayoum City and its monuments, which was hosted by Ain Shams University last week in cooperation with the German Grants Authority and the German Institute of Archeology in Cairo. Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid, Vice President of the University, pointed to the importance of this cooperation, which comes in line with the vision of the state and its trends towards strengthening Egyptian-German relations.
