Future Research and Africa Agenda 2063 Prospects for Integration and Development ... The first online conference of Faculty of Girls

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, opened the fourth international electronic conference for the postgraduate studies and research in the College of Girls, which came under the title "Future Research and Africa Agenda 2063 Prospects of Integration and Development" under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Singab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Rakia Shalaby, Dean of the College and President of the Conference, and Prof. Hanan Al Shaer, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Conference Rapporteur and His Excellency Ambassador Hussein Haredy through video conference technology.

During his speech, Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, stressed on the importance of shedding light on development in the African continent and Egypt's pioneering role in it, through the goals of Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063 that integrate and show Egypt's clear vision of development on the continent.

He also pointed to the global situation witnessed by all countries under the Corona pandemic, which imposed the challenge of the importance of relying heavily on distance learning and the development of technological infrastructure, which is something that all colleges of the university have largely succeeded in achieving, even though we still need more development and Possessing all e-learning skills, and his Excellency praised the convening of this conference remotely.

As Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Singab, during his speech at the opening session, said that the conference comes within the framework of supporting the African agenda 2063, which reflects the African vision to achieve sustainable development through unity, prosperity and peace in the continent, with the help of its children to represent a vital force on the international level.

He added that the convening of this conference electronically affirms Ain Shams University's keenness to achieve electronic scientific exchange.

Prof. Dr. Rokaia Shalaby said that the holding of this conference coincides with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the African Union.

She also praised the great international interaction witnessed by this conference through the participation of more than 4 thousand researchers from different countries of the continent with the participation of Ambassador Hussein Haridy, who will discuss the topic of Africa and Development and Peace and Dr. Ibtisam Jassour from Sudan, which raises the topic of the future of the African continent and Dr. Hussein Al-Ahmadi, who Peace will be discussed in Africa.

It is worth noting that the electronic conference hosted by the college is the first tele-conference via electronic technology and deals with three axes: the future research in science, future research in the arts, and future research in education.
