Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Mohamed Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs. The Ain Shams University Student Union launched an electronic competition to discover the artistic and cultural talents of university students, and the technical fields included (acting - singing - playing the individual Standup comedy and religious chants), as well as a number of cultural areas (classical poetry - vernacular, short story and essay).
The competition comes within the framework of Ain Shams University efforts to overcome the global crisis of the Corona pandemic, and a desire for students to benefit from the period of domestic isolation and direct their energies in positive, beneficial and beneficial directions.
The prize money for the competition is 56 thousand pounds distributed to the winners of the first five places.
The competition progress is by communicating with the student organization team via the WhatsApp number and sending technical and cultural works to evaluate them with the knowledge of specialized technical and cultural committees to choose the best five works in each field and submit them on the official page of the University Students Union on the social network Facebook to vote on them and determine the arrangement Centers from the first to the fifth in each field.
the General Administration of Youth Welfare receives hundreds of registration requests and electronic files filed, which are classified and evaluated by specialists from inside and outside the university. The work will be uploaded to the Federation page so students can see the creations of their colleagues, as well as the participation of the student audience in the final voting stage for the first centers.
The competition will be held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdel Moneim Rady, advisor to the Vice-President of the University for student activities and university cities, the student Mahmoud Abdel Halim, President of the University Students Union, and Mr. Mohamed Al Sharkawi, Director of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Yahya Hassan Hussein, Director of the Family Administration and Student unions and Mr. Mustafa Issa, Director of Artistic Activity Department Mohamed Taha Director of the Department of Cultural Activity.
