Vision
To establish an infrastructure for studies and research in German and Arabic languages for non-native speakers at Ain Shams University capable of competing globally and to be a house of expertise and a model for international cooperation to advance the educational process at the academic, research and cultural levels. Mission
To improve the quality of the educational process by providing high-quality programs, development projects, and joint research in the fields of German and Arabic studies for non-native speakers, in cooperation with international universities and institutions, to prepare competent researchers and experts who play a mediating role in the field of Arabic-German linguistic and cultural relations locally and globally.
* Preparing students to obtain scientific degrees in German and Arabic studies as foreign languages for non-native speakers (diplomas, masters and doctorates) in cooperation between Ain Shams University and other German and international universities and institutions at home and abroad at the educational and field training levels
* Focusing on scientific research, publishing specialized scientific journals, conducting research projects, holding workshops and international conferences in cooperation with specialized institutions concerned at home and abroad to discuss issues of teaching and learning German and Arabic languages for non-native speakers
* Conducting studies on new specializations for the labor market
* Raising the level of teaching and learning German and Arabic as foreign languages for non-native speakers at the university level according to international standards in quality and accreditation and producing a good product with developing and raising the competitive ability of the learner to be able to compete and endure in the future
* Focusing on linking the teaching of German and Arabic to scientific research
* Inviting visiting professors to consult and participate in scientific research and various development processes carried out by the center and concluding cultural agreements with German universities and other institutions
* Providing programs with internationally recognized certificates for teaching Teaching German and Arabic to non-native speakers using modern methods and techniques for self-learning and e-learning
* Providing programs to qualify cadres to teach various scientific disciplines in German and Arabic
* Providing internationally recognized programs to qualify students to pass the TestDaF exam and other international exams according to the needs of the center's programs
* Certified translation of certificates and documents from Arabic to German and vice versa, as well as working on translation projects and educational programs for training in translation
* Opening branches of the center in the various faculties of the university according to the desire of these faculties, while providing distinguished educational programs in languages and various activities according to the memorandums of understanding concluded between the center and the relevant faculties.
The center can also open branches in other Arab and foreign countries
