Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University organized a ceremony to honor Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, Professor of Russian Language and Former President of the University, on the occasion of obtaining his Excellency the University Appreciation Award for the year 2020, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Yamna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Prof. Dr. Ola Adel, Vice Dean of the previous college.

During his speech, Prof. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, affirmed that at the end of his administrative career at the university, he is supervising by participating in honoring Prof. Saleh Hashem, the former president of the university, who is considered a stature and a great scientific value with a high-level academic and administrative reputation on obtaining the University Appreciation Award.

He added that the university has witnessed in recent years a practical renaissance with its sincere men of professors who were able, with their research, to place the university in the ranks of international universities in the field of internationally published scientific research, especially Dr. Saleh Hashem, one of the sons of a prestigious faculty in the world, namely Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University.

Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, the former president of the university, also confirmed that he was honored by being honored within the walls of the college in which he grew up academically and in the presence of a group of senior professors, indicating that the star of the sons of the Faculty of Al-Alsun always shines in international forums and prestigious positions at the level of the Egyptian country and The Arab and international community because of the high-level capabilities that the college has throughout the different ages in mastering the languages ​​of the whole world.

Emphasizing that the academic does not end his working life once he reaches the legal age, rather he bears a research and other educational responsibility for young researchers to provide them with all the experiences that they gained during their scientific and research career to raise their levels and help them to continue the research process to serve the continuous educational and scientific process.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that Dr. Saleh Hashem, the former president of the university and the former secretary general of the Association of Arab Universities, and a regional president representing the Middle East and North Africa in the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) worked as dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, then as a vice president of the university For postgraduate studies and scientific research, he is president of Ain Shams University, and he has many white hands on the faculty and the university that are still raised to this day and will continue to shine in the sky of the university for many years to come, and she emphasized that the college spares no effort in honoring its distinguished scholars on various occasions .
