Within the framework of Ain Shams University's preparations to receive the new academic year 2020/2021, headed and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini and the care and supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Ain Shams University has finished preparing electronic courses for the five theoretical colleges that follow the pre-prepared curriculum system, namely the Faculties of (Arts, Law, Commerce, Education, Girls).
In this context, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud said that the high numerical density of students ’enrollment rates in these colleges, and in light of the university’s keenness to keep pace with the development of educational systems globally and locally, as well as the need to cope with the new conditions imposed by the Corona pandemic on education systems. Ain Shams University was able in cooperation with the Development Department Education at the university and the departments that follow in the five aforementioned colleges, the completion of the preparation of electronic courses for students of various academic levels in it, where students will be handed over CDs that include the entire first semester course, in addition to the username and password of each student to enter the special educational platform In it, as well as all related links or educational sites.
Saud said that by applying this educational system, the exploitation of library owners, note merchants and others will be completely eliminated for students who were forced to buy notes or books in exorbitant sums, and at the same time there was no specific date for obtaining the course This had a negative impact on the student’s study period of the curriculum and its good comprehension, given the late availability of these curricula in libraries.
Saud asserted that the university bears the full cost of these courses for all students whose subject to the social solidarity system, and that able students will bear a cost that is much less than what they used to pay for books or notes obtained from libraries or unknown sources that are not subject to any university supervision.
