The launch of the national project for training leaders and members of the faculty, the assisting body, and administrators in the four new private universities at Ain Shams University

Today, the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University started the first stages of the national project to train leaders of new private universities (King Salman International University - El Alamein International University - Galala University - New Mansoura University), under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Tarek Abu El-Maati, General Supervisor of the Project at the Ministry of Higher Education and Vice President of Galala University, Prof. Dr. Samia Azab, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Neven Asim, Director of the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University and the Project Director, Mr. Karam Hegazy, Assistant Secretary of the University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.

Where Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, stressed the importance of developing the human element, to develop the educational and research process, adding that training will be conducted on several programs that will improve and improve the performance of trainees and give them many experiences, indicating that the opening of private universities is a new addition to education in Egypt, it is also a strong start for cooperation with new private universities

Prof. Dr. Tarek Abu Al-Maati, Vice President of Al-Galala University, said the four new private universities have cost many billions, with the support of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the interest of Mr. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, therefore, the interest in the human element was to maximize the returns from these universities, explaining that Ain Shams University had won this project, which would include training leaders, administrators, faculty members and workers after competition from many foreign and private universities.

Prof. Dr. Samia Al-Azab, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, explained that Ain Shams University has studied the training needs of Galala University and methods of improving and evaluating administrative performance.

Prof. Dr. Neven Assem, Director of the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University, said that the human element is the basis of the relationship in any entity, noting that the training will include studying the training needs of each university to develop the strategic plan for training and the implementation of training programs and to ensure the use of the information and skills that the trainee receives in the training halls and his ability to Transferring these skills to the workplace and measuring the return on training to maximize the benefit from the training.

It is worth noting that the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University won the national project launched by the Ministry of Higher Education, in which many Egyptian governmental and private universities and institutions participated.

The training program includes four training programs, the first for university presidents and representatives, the second program for the training of faculty members and the third for the assisting bodies, and finally a special program to raise the efficiency and training of administrators at Galala University, King Salman International University and El Alamein International University.
