Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed the university's celebration of the anniversary of the glorious October victories, which was organized by the General Administration for Youth Welfare of the Education and Student Sector under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, advisor to the university vice president for student activities, in the presence of the family of the martyr Ibrahim Al-Rifai (Brigadier General Sameh Ibrahim Al-Rifai and Mrs. Nabila Ibrahim Al-Rifai) and a group of deans and agents of the university's colleges, Colonel Muhammad Ramadan, Director of the Military Education Department, Colonel Muhammad Fuad, Major Muhammad Tariq, Major Muhammad Yusuf, Prof. Heba Shaheen, Director of the Media Center and Prof. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the artist Nihal Anbar.
The ceremony, which attracted the admiration of the audience, included a selection of students' artistic works, which varied between the theatrical presentation, Prince of the Martyrs, written and directed by Muhammad Zaki, and recounting the heroics of the martyr Ibrahim Al-Rifai in a dramatic framework linking the victories and heroics of the past and what is happening today from the victory of the Egyptian army over the forces of brutal terrorism.
The university's music and choir team also presented selected singing paragraphs from patriotic songs led and trained by artist Mahmoud Wahid, in addition to the performances of the Folklore Band, led and trained by artist Hassan Shehata.
At the end of the ceremony, the family of the martyr Al-Rifai, Major Muhammad Yusuf, who was injured in the military operations, and Major Muhammad Tariq Wadih, the artist Nihal Anbar, were honored.
