The University President honored Dr. Mahmoud Mohi Eldin for assuming the position of Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, honored Dr. Mahmoud Mohi Eldin, former Minister of Investment, on the occasion of his election as an Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund and a member of its Board of Directors, representing Egypt and the Group of Arab Countries, at Saffron Palace in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Moanis, Director of the Middle East Research Center.

 It is worth noting that Dr. Mahmoud Mohi Eldin was unanimously elected Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund and a member of its board of directors, representing Egypt and a group of Arab countries that include Egypt, the Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, in addition to the Maldives, and Dr. Mahmoud Mohi Eldin has held international positions. The most recent of which was his previous work at the World Bank as Senior Vice President of the World Bank Group for Sustainable Development, Relations with the United Nations and Partnerships, after which he assumed his current position as the UN Secretary-General's Envoy for Sustainable Development Financing.
