Under the auspices of Ain Shams University and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Maged Abu Al-Enein, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Amal Shams, Head of the Philosophy Department, and in the hospitality of the Faculty of Education and in cooperation with the National Authority for Media - Egyptian Television, he invited the Faculty of Education to participate in the dialogue about the future of science in Egypt between vision and challenges, through the activities of the "Forum" program presented by the chief broadcaster Mr. Khaled Saad on the channel 1 of the Egyptian television.
This was on the stage of the Faculty of Education, taking into account the precautionary measures to protect everyone.
During the forum, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, on the challenges facing education in Egypt during the next stage, as well as addressing the skills and standards that the teacher should adhere to during the next stage, and he also praised the distinguished success achieved by members of the teaching staff and workers at Ain Shams University In managing the Corona crisis ably, as the university’s experience was a pioneer in managing the educational process at all levels and continuing to contribute to achieving the 2030 sustainable development strategy in all its dimensions, especially with regard to education and training, and enabling the learner to meet the requirements and skills of the twenty-first century, including the use of technology in continuous education until this moment in anticipation. Mr. Magid Abu Al-Enein, Dean of the Faculty of Education, talked about the role of the Faculty of Education in teacher preparation, the difference between the Faculties of Teacher Preparation, namely, Education, Girls and Specific Education, the Faculty’s role in the professional and specialized preparation of the teacher, and the three sectors that the Faculty includes and hybrid education, the obstacles that faced its application and ways to overcome them. And the characteristics of the Faculty of Education graduate that distinguish him from other Faculty graduates, and his advice to the successful teacher.
Prof. Dr. Amal Shams, Head of the Department of Philosophy at the College, referred to the relationship between social media, media, education, the role of community institutions in social upbringing ... and the importance of youth linkage with authentic societal and historical values.
She added that facing regional and global challenges is through consolidating the values of citizenship and raising awareness of the values of digital citizenship, in addition to the learners acquiring the skills required for the labor market in order to be good citizens of their society.
The forum started at twelve noon and lasted for 3 hours. It witnessed the recording of 3 TV episodes of 25 minutes each with the Vice President, Dean of the Faculty and the Head of the Philosophy Department; where all of them participated in answering the questions of the students attending the forum.
