The activities of the second day of the guiding convoy at the Faculty of Agriculture in the village of Tahanoub in Qalyubia

Under the auspices of prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, the first guiding convoy for this year for the Faculty of Agriculture, headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty, completing the various activities aimed at animal and agricultural awareness, in cooperation with the Agriculture Directorate and the Veterinary Directorate in Qalyubia Governorate and sponsoring IFT.

The activities of the second day of the extension convoy continued in the village of Tahanoub, Shebin El-Qanater Center, Qalyubia Governorate, under the supervision of Prof. Hamdy El-Sayed, Professor of Animal Nutrition and Coordinator of the Extension Campaign, in cooperation with a group of professors of the Faculty of Agriculture: Prof. Dr. Nasr Al-Bardini, Professor of Animal Production, Prof. Dr. Youssef Al-Kinani, Professor of Food Sciences, Prof. Dr. Amr Al-Gaziri, Professor of Animal Production at the Research Institute, Dr. Abdul Rahman Youssef, teacher of poultry production, Dr. Safaa Abdullah, Professor, Department of Animal Production, Dr. Nabil Nasr, Director of Occupational Safety and Health at the College of Agriculture, in the presence of Eng. Essam Kamal, Director of the Agricultural Department in Shebin El Qanater, Eng. Maher Abdel Ati, Director General of Animal Production at the Agriculture Directorate in Qalioubia

The veterinary and agricultural convoy was received by Mrs. Amal Abdel-Fattah Al-Asaily, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Veterinary Directorate in Qalioubia, Dr. Samir Rizk Mustafa, director of the care and treatment department in the directorate, and head of caravans in Qalyubia, Dr. Jamal Al-Jali, Director of the Veterinary Department in Shebin El-Qanater.

The veterinarians explained the importance of cleanliness of animal pens and the need to take care of proper nutrition, taking into account the use of modern methods of breeding birds and attention to the cleanliness of the place of breeding constantly in addition to using the best methods in the production of various dairy products, and veterinary examination of animals (donkeys and horses) and young cows and buffaloes using sonar.
