Faculty of Al-Alsun welcomes the iHub team of innovation and entrepreneurship center

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, welcomed the main team of the University's ihub Innovation Center, according to the directives of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs; Where she received Prof. Maged Ghanima, Professor of Engineering, Director of the Innovation Center at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Center and the team accompanying him, in the presence of the Vice Deans of the College, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized the importance of discovering the creative side and developing it for students and directing it to community service in the form of projects or services that provide good returns for serving public life, stressing the importance of integrating different disciplines among the university’s colleges to produce national projects on the ground that contribute to Community Development.

After that, Prof. Maged Ghanima and his accompanying team held a meeting with the faculty vice-deans, during which he reviewed the formation of the ihub innovation center at the university level and the mechanisms of linking all activities in various sectors to the colleges in the main center of the university, to coordinate work in all projects, whether for faculty members or students to support or direct them to the labor market, as well as Ensure the rights of the owners.

He emphasized that the innovation club in each iClub college is a student activity affiliated with each college and is part of the main formation of the innovation club of Ain Shams University.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club was established to train and educate future undergraduate students to prepare them for a society that supports technology and entrepreneurship by designing training programs that support innovation in education and develop entrepreneurial skills. This helps in engaging university students in supporting community services as a whole and universities in particular.

The Innovation Club also aims to transform innovative ideas into products and services that are feasible and developmental and of economic and social value.

In addition, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club aims to create a supportive environment for students as the primary focus of education and training, by participating in various student activities inside and outside the university and developing leadership and entrepreneurship skills.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club is a student community supervised by faculty members in the college and activated and implemented by students, which helps students acquire the knowledge and practical experiences necessary to participate in entrepreneurship and business management activities in universities.

He continued his speech, stressing the importance of preparing and preparing creative students in the various faculties of the university to participate in the various local and international competitions under the name of the university, as well as the importance of discovering the talents of students by following specific mechanisms, and stressed the need to link all ideas with the labor market, so scientific discovery is whether An idea or a scientific research that can be transformed into a service or commodity for society, through the application of some activities that encourage students to participate.

He explained that the vision of the university administration headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Matini aims to transform all activities to serve the community to enter the classification of fourth generation universities, by supporting students' innovations to encourage creativity, and he went on to stress the need to add the goal of creativity to the research plan of the faculty.
