Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, received Mr. Octavio Tripp, the Mexican Ambassador in Cairo, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damati, former Minister of Antiquities and Professor of Egyptian Antiquities, Prof. Shahera Samir, Executive Director of International Relations and Academic Cooperation and Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Director of the University's International Cooperation Office, Prof. Dr. Sherwit Al-Ahmadi, Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Director of the University's Expatriate Welfare Office, and Prof. Dr. Youmna Azmy, Assistant Professor, Department of Spanish Language, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University.
The exchange of experiences between Ain Shams University and Mexican universities was discussed, especially in the presence of many similarities between the two countries as well as the two civilizations.
The distinguished programs of Ain Shams University were also reviewed, as well as ways to strengthen joint cooperation between Ain Shams University and Mexican universities.
