Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, met with the university scientists who were included in the Stanford University classification of the United States among the best 2% of the world's scientists, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Raja, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abu Shanab, Acting Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Shahera Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development and Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Office, Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Executive Director of the Information Technology Unit.
Where Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the work and effort made by Ain Shams University scientists through the abundant and distinguished scientific production that was evident in the American Stanford University classification. He added that there is improvement at the university level as a whole, but our ambition is much greater, indicating that There is tremendous development that all of the university's faculties will witness in the coming period.
His Excellency also issued a decision to include this elite of scientists to the university's research council, in order to exchange ideas and visions to increase the number next year, as well as to benefit from their experiences and capabilities in the field of scientific research, and to work as one team in order to raise the value of science and the elevation of Ain Shams University.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, asked to develop a strategy for student research and encourage it, as well as cite university references and research and shed light on them, pointing to Ain Shams University's progress in many international rankings.
Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, expressed his happiness with what Ain Shams University scientists have achieved, stressing that they are the engine of scientific research in all the university's faculties.
