End of the 16 days campaign to combat violence against women at Ain Shams University (General Principal) (students, studies, environment)

The Unit for Combating Violence and Harassment at Ain Shams University was organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr.. Hind Hilali, Unit Director, Environmental Awareness Campaigns 16 Days to Combat Violence against Women through an advertising campaign (Connie) organized by the National Council from November 25 to December 10, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr.. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz works as Vice President for Community Service Affairs.

The activities included training workshops for the unit's volunteer team against all forms of violence and harassment, in addition to awareness campaigns on campus about the deterrence mechanisms taken by the university against harassment through the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit. The achievements of the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit at Ain Shams University were reviewed in the celebration of the Unit Safe women in Ain Shams hospitals in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsi, head of the National Council for Women.

Prof. Dr. Hind Hilali, Director of the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit at Ain Shams University, in a symposium (No to Violence against Women) organized by the National Council for Women in Al-Ahly Clubs in the island and Heliopolis, in the presence of Ambassador Sana Atallah, the reporter of the National Council for Women in Cairo, and coordinated by Professor Iman Al-Nasharti, a member of the Council branch in Cairo, with the participation of Dr. Hanan Abdel Qader, deputy chief editor of Al-Gomhoria newspaper

And a member of the Provincial Committee of the National Council for Women, where she spoke about the role of the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit within the university, referring to the penalties for harassment in the law and the importance of providing a safe environment for women and girls, stressing the promotion and empowerment of women through equal opportunities units within government institutions and bodies, in addition to the training of WINDOW Training, which works on creating women's self-defense skills through gestures and body language, as well as a group of defensive movements that enable the girl to defend herself within the means of transportation.
