The Graduate Studies Sector launches a competition to prepare a marketing plan that keeps pace with the elements of transformation for fourth generation universities

Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector at Ain Shams University under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, organizes a competition for Ain Shams University to prepare a marketing plan that keeps pace with the transformation components of the fourth generation ASU G4 Transformation, as part of the university’s interest in enhancing the competitiveness of education and scientific research in the country. Believing that digital transformation in the university is the main driver of all areas of the strategic plan set by the university with the aim of reaching an advanced international classification that keeps pace with the elements of transformation for the fourth generation universities.

The competition aims to improve the quality of services provided by the sector, reduce time and effort, and reduce paper handling, especially in light of the precautionary measures taken by the university in light of the repercussions of the Coronavirus COVID 19, in addition to raising the level of scientific research by promoting the culture of innovation and creativity among the university community of Shams, And providing the necessary services to support the university's scientific research system.

The competition also aims to increase the rates of international publishing, especially in journals and periodicals with a high impact factor and listed in the Scoupslist journal, as well as marketing the various scientific research outputs at the university and outside it, and to involve different generations of faculty members, the assisting body, researchers and students in joint work groups.

In addition to encouraging distinguished and creative people, regardless of their scientific specializations, to prepare the marketing plan, which includes the university's website and all social media platforms (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook ....) affiliated with the university in addition to marketing the services provided and supporting scientific research in its various forms such as the Egyptian Knowledge Bank courses and the Center's courses Training and development and others.

About the general conditions for the competition is that the submitted proposal includes a complete marketing plan that includes the university's website, all social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook ...) affiliated with the university.

With a report explaining the general idea and the proposed services to be provided to support the scientific research system at the university, explaining the tools, methods used and implementation mechanisms, and attached to the reports submitted by the competing teams Demo videos, Screen shoots clearly explaining the general idea of ​​the tools used and the various features of these tools and how to apply them.

For each of the faculty and assisting staff, researchers and innovators, alumni of Shams University and students of Ain Shams University faculties and institutes, provided that the advanced teams consist of 3-5 persons.

The competition presents prizes to the winners of the first three centers, valued at EGP 120,000.

50 thousand pounds for the first place

40 thousand pounds for the second place

30 thousand pounds for the third place.

In addition to incentive prizes for distinguished and innovative ideas that include the best marketing plan, the best user experience, the best use of tools, the best design and the best teamwork.
