The Board of the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University, sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, during its session held on Sunday, January 24, 2021, headed by Prof. Sahar Suleiman, Dean of the College, where the Board appreciated the efforts of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and his good leadership in containing the Corona pandemic crisis with a different, unprecedented vision, and pushing him for all measures and procedures necessary to equip isolation hospitals to serve all members of the university community, including faculty members, students and administrators.
The letter of thanks also included the expression of the Board of the Faculty of Nursing expressing their pride in the distinguished medical service provided by Obour Specialized Hospital affiliated to Ain Shams University Hospitals, starting from the speed of response to accepting sick cases and the accurate system despite the difficult circumstances imposed by the pandemic.
The Faculty of Nursing also praised the university president’s support for the distance education system and the acceleration of the application of digital transformation and the automation of all university colleges, which led to a quantum leap and the creation of innovative alternative scenarios and the development of teaching and learning policies and the creation of a new educational environment in the university community characterized by modernity and diversity, in order to enhance capacity and efficiency, the information infrastructure, electronic communication networks, localization of computer systems and their applications in the field of higher education with the availability of quality in education in various faculties of the university, especially the College of Nursing, with working in one team with state institutions in managing the emerging Corona virus crisis, and the Board wished the President of Ain Shams University continued success and payment.
