Ain Shams University students visit Diyarna exhibition for productive families, amid full precautionary measures

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the education and students sector organized in cooperation with the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the University Student Union Journey An educational event for the Dyarna exhibition for productive families, in the midst of strict precautionary and preventive measures.

The visit was in the presence and coordination of Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Professor of Marketing and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Community Service and Environmental Development, Mohamed Lashin, President of the University Student Union, Abdul Rahman Sharif, Secretary of the Cultural Committee, and the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, General Director of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Prof. Islam Ahmed, a youth sponsor, and a group of university students from “For Egypt” Central Family.

         
   
         

It is noteworthy that the Diyarna handicrafts exhibition is held under the slogan "Egypt speaks a craftsman". The exhibition aims to support the handicraft industries through promoting handicrafts that are manufactured by craftsmen and hundreds of thousands of productive families in all governorates of Egypt.

The visit came from the university’s role in developing awareness among its students of the importance of crafts and manual professions, because of their role in advancing the economy and eliminating unemployment by providing job opportunities for young people of both sexes, as the handicraft industries contribute to making a qualitative leap in the economic and social life of a segment Of the citizens.

         
   
         

During their tour of "Diyarna" exhibition, students praised the displayed products, expressing their happiness with this visit. They also learned from the exhibitors how to manufacture and market these products and the obstacles they face.

The exhibition included nearly 300 exhibitors, most of them women, and some of them with special needs, representing all governorates of the Republic with their heritage products that are distinguished by quality and reasonable prices. The exhibits included porcelain products, carpets, hand-made kilims and pottery, bamboo, glass, hand furnishings, silver and copper accessories. , Heritage clothing, leather goods, food and other products.

The students ended their visit by chanting the university's slogan and a family slogan for Central Egypt, and took memorial photos.
