Based on Ain Shams University's awareness of the labor market variables and the importance of planning for it; Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, is participating in the Pioneers Conference and Exhibition for Career Planning and preparation for the Labor Market, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, from March 23-24.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that the participation of Ain Shams University comes through its expertise in the field of preparation for the labor market, as it is unique from its counterparts in the existence of a career preparation center that supports the vocational path that plays a prominent role to qualify and prepare students according to the requirements and needs of the labor market which changes according to the data of the time.
Prof. Dr. Ayman Farid, Director of the University's Employment Center, pointed out that the conference discusses the future of achieving job performance for graduates, and how to plan to be prepared for labor market in terms of distinguished opportunities and how to qualify for them.
The conference and exhibition will be attended by the Faculties of Business, Law, Computer science, Al-Alsun and Engineering, in addition to the university's employment center, and university students will also participate in discussion sessions and conference activities.
The conference activities throughout the two days include an exhibition for training and employment for a large group of companies and banks, and discussion sessions for more than 30 experts on the most important issues of career planning, labor market skills, and challenges facing many young people, in the presence of businessmen and community symbols. The first universities and distinguished youth will be honored. The sponsoring companies and banks provide free training grants to more than 100 graduate.
Several steps have been taken in order to achieve the most levels of transparency and community participation for all parties.
