Opening of the " 2021 Pioneers for Career Planning and Qualification for the Labor Market " Conference and Exhibition

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated the "Pioneers 2021 for Career Planning and Qualification for the Labor Market" conference and exhibition, which the ministry is implementing through the Central Administration for Projects and Youth Training (General Administration for Youth Training) in cooperation with the Adviser Group for Consulting and Training, on 23-24 March Civic Education Center on the island.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi mentioned that this event is the most important for university youth and recent graduates, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Adviser Group for Consulting and Training, praising the role of Egyptian universities in their effective cooperation and strategic partnership between them.

The Minister of Youth and Sports affirmed the vision of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the integrative future vision of the Egyptian state in planning, future thinking, taking into account rapid changes and the needs of Egyptian youth, qualifying and training them through the central administration of projects and training youth in cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities in the country, pointing to the many initiatives implemented by the ministry from In order to link youth with the labor market through the emergence of a group of concepts, the most important of which is entrepreneurship, the employment bank, and the conference held at the core of the discussion topic, hoping for recommendations and ideas from youth to formulate them and work on the linking process and study the problems.

The Minister of Youth and Sports indicated that the conference activities include an exhibition for training and employment for a large group of companies and banks, in addition to discussion sessions for more than 30 experts on the most important issues of career planning, labor market skills, and the challenges facing many young people. This was done in the presence of a large number of businessmen and community figures, as well as honoring the first universities and distinguished youth, and sponsoring companies and banks offered free training grants to more than one hundred young people.

         
   
         

 

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports and all attendees, pointing to the importance of the topic of employment forums and the importance of partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and all concerned parties that work together to qualify and train young people to find a suitable job opportunity that suits the needs of the labor market, explaining that there are A center for qualifying and developing the skills of young graduates and recent graduates at the university in cooperation with the ministry, explaining that all concerned authorities will monitor any changes in the world of the labor market and work to link them with youth in light of digital transformation, accelerated technology around the world and the industrial revolution.

The conference will discuss the training and skills development strategy for youth within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030, planning skills to build a career, career planning and areas of work in banks and banking institutions, career planning and work in the accounting, auditing and financing sectors, labor market analysis in the context of contemporary digital transformations, the development of functional areas of work. In the software and information technology sector, functional areas for work in investment institutions and securities companies, and the closing session and ceremony honoring the top universities.

The Minister of Youth and Sports and the President of Ain Shams University also witnessed the conclusion of the opening session and the handing over of shields and certificates to senior guests and participating parties.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Farid, Director of the University's Employment Center, indicated that the conference discusses the future of achieving job performance for graduates, how to plan the labor market in terms of distinguished opportunities and how to qualify for them.

The conference will be attended by the Faculties of Business, Law, Computers and Information, Al-Alsun and the Faculty of Engineering, in addition to the university's employment center. University students also participate in discussion sessions and conference activities.
