Supporting the global goals of sustainable development ... a competition for innovation and entrepreneurship in Faculty of Agriculture

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Agriculture conducted the judging of the first competition for innovation and entrepreneurship entitled "Supporting Global Goals for Sustainable Development" in the new program hall of the Faculty of Agriculture.

The competition jury consisted of: Prof. Dr. Hisham Hariri, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof.Dr. Walaa Abdelghani, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Nabil Al-Madani, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Maged Ghoneima, Director of “I Hub” at Ain Shams University, Dr. Lamia Radwan, Director of “I Hub” at Ain Shams Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Sayed Shaaban, Head of the Plant Department, Prof. Dr. Naglaa Obaid, Director of New Programs, Dr. Hala Badr, Dr. Heba Nour.

The first place was won by innovation under the title (Egyptian investments in free crops), while the second place was won by innovation under the title (maximizing the added value of halophytes in marginalized areas). The third-level student team for the Land and Water Program, consisting of: Abdullah Mohammad Aman Allah Muhammad - Esraa Mohammad Ismail Ammar - Hager Fawad Abdel Azim - Nourhan Sayed Ali Sayed - Abd al-Rahman Mohammad Mahmoud Serour.

The third place was awarded to innovation (Milk E-Test) device. The student team of two students at the fourth level of both the Food Industry Program and the Animal Production Program, namely: Mohamed Ahmed Saeed Mohamed (Food Science Program) and Marwan Talaat Mohamed (Animal Production Program).
