The university president inaugurates the 19th conference of the Egyptian Society for the Study of Endoscopy, the Digestive System and Hepatology

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Mr. Wang Chenggang, Chinese Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ramadan in the House of Professor of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, Ain Shams Medicine and President of the Egyptian Society for the Study of Endoscopy, Digestive System and Hepatology, Prof. Serag Zakaria, Professor of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, Cairo Medicine, and Secretary of the Association, Prof. Dr. Wei Zawa Professor of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Wuhan University of China, Prof. Dr. Jean-Francois, Professor of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Arnold Tizanke University, Nice, France, and President of the World Endoscopy Society, inaugurated the nineteenth annual conference of the Egyptian Society for the Study of Endoscopy, the Digestive System and the Liver.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness at his presence in this gathering, which includes an elite of doctors from all countries of the world, and he also welcomed the Chinese ambassador, praising the cooperation between Egypt and China in the Corona pandemic since last year, pointing out that Covid-19 has changed Map of the world.

He added that Egypt was able to confront this pandemic professionally, thanking the entire health sector in Egypt for dealing with the pandemic.

         
   
         

The conference aims to be acquainted with the new in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopes, the latest diagnostic methods, the latest treatment methods and modern devices, and to discuss new research in the field of gastrointestinal diseases and liver, and the new in the field of liver transplantation, gastrointestinal surgery, obesity surgery, diseases and tumors of the pancreas and bile ducts, the latest diagnostic methods and the latest treatment methods Pharmacological and interventional.

The conference also aims to review the latest B virus research, research and treatment of liver tumors (modern immunotherapies) and their recent entry into treatment protocols.

The conference also seeks to encourage young doctors to present difficult cases in the largest medical conference on the digestive system in which Egyptian, Arab and foreign professors participate, in addition to benefiting from foreign expertise from the participating professors from Europe, Asia and Arab countries and communicating with foreign experiences from the participating professors from Europe, Asia and the Arab countries
