On the occasion of Ramadan ... Ain Shams University launches a food convoy to the cities of Shalateen, Halayeb and Abu Ramad in the Red Sea Governorate

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, Department of Community Service and Environmental Development at the University, headed by Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Sector Affairs, organized a comprehensive food convoy for the people of the cities of Shalateen, Halayeb and Abu Ramad in the Red Sea Governorate, this was stated by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Secretary General of Ain Shams University, Assistant for Sector Affairs and General Supervisor of the convoy.

On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, 7,000 cartons containing various food and supplies were provided, including 4,500 cartons for the people of the city of Shalateen and 2,500 cartons for the people of Halayeb and Abu Ramad.

         
   
         

The convoy lasted for three days to serve the people of the governorate, and the work of the convoy was witnessed by Major General Yasser Shaban, head of the city of Shalateen, in coordination with the Directorate of Social Solidarity in the Red Sea Governorate.

It is noteworthy that Ain Shams University is keen to launch comprehensive development convoys to the various governorates of the republic, within the framework of presidential initiatives to develop the Egyptian countryside and provide a decent life for citizens in the various governorates of the republic. The convoys include the provision of medical services, in-kind assistance, health awareness campaigns, literacy classes, and others.
