Media students of the Faculty of Arts win the Creativity Award of the best media production within the activities of the University's ninth scientific conference

Within the framework of the activities of the ninth scientific conference of Ain Shams University "Fourth Generation Universities between Reality and Aspirations", students of the Department of Communication and Media Sciences at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University won the Creativity Award for the Best Media Production, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metiny, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, supervised by Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, Head of Communication and Media Sciences Department.

The students participated in the film "Egypt through Our Eyes", which presented, with a youthful vision, the future development projects that Egypt is witnessing under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Through a trip that the work team undertakes to a number of development projects such as "greenhouses, the Galala plateau, the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Administrative Capital, and others."

He presented the most prominent characteristics of these projects, their importance to Egypt and the benefit that would accrue to future generations from all these projects. Each of the 17 students supervised the group of students who carried out the film included Dr. Maram Ahmed, a teacher in the department, and Dr. Engy Fathy, the teacher in the department.

Students also participated in "Dushmah" magazine, which sought to emphasize the strength of the relationship between the Egyptian people and their armed forces. Where Dushma is considered a fortress that the soldier takes shelter in while defending his homeland, so that the name is an indication of the great support that the Egyptians provide to their army, under the slogan "There is a people in your back." Students of the Department of Journalism under the supervision of Prof. Nesma Mohamed, assistant lecturer in the department, and Dr. Heba master teacher in the department.

In addition, 50 students from the journalism department participated in the "Zodiac" magazine, under the supervision of Prof. Marwa Saeed, assistant lecturer in the department, and Dr. Heba master teacher in the department.

"Zodiac" magazine is a general magazine that includes all disciplines between: politics, media, health, education, sports, art and women. The name of the magazine was a goal that those in charge of it wanted to achieve, and it is that the "Zodiac" is considered a salvation boat that takes everyone to the path of progress and development in all fields. And that is through comprehensive journalistic topics aimed at achieving the goal of the media and its role in influencing society.
