Faculty of Al-Alsun launches an entertainment convoy to celebrate the orphan's day

The Education and Student Sector, in cooperation with the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, organized a convoy to celebrate Orphan’s Day, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, supervised by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean for Education Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yamna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

     
 
     

Prof. Dr. Yomna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, explained during her meeting with students participating in the caravan that the college is keen to spread the culture of volunteer work among college students and their involvement in community work, and indicated that it is the duty of the university student to actively participate in the activities. Social in order to invest time in useful work and refine his personality.

Where a convoy set off from the faculty to Umm Kulthum Social Care House in the Gesr Al-Suez area, in cooperation between the education sector, students, the community service and environmental development sector, youth care, and Talal Faculty Union.

The number of students participating in the caravan reached more than 30 students, and an entertainment day was organized for children, where the students participated, the children of the house, many activities, and the technical committee in the faculty provided an artistic paragraph for the children of the house, and meals were distributed in addition to gifts for children, in the form of bags and T-shirts.

The convoy held a workshop for children and workers at the home on how to prevent corona disease, and provided each child with the necessary supplies for prevention (alcohol and masks), in addition to personal care supplies.
