Ain Shams University students achieve advanced positions in the Egyptian Universities Athletics Championship

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and his Sudanese counterpart, Dr. Albino Paul, honored the students of Ain Shams University who won the first places in the Egyptian Universities Athletics Championship (the 48th Martyr Rifai Championship), which was organized by the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports And its activities were held at the Olympic Sports Center in Maadi.

Where students of Ain Shams University, sponsored by Prof. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of the University, and Prof. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, first place in the 100-meter hurdles race, first place in pole vaulting, second place in the 400-meter hurdles race, second place in the 5000-meter walking race, and third place in the spear competition.

University students of determination also won first and third place in the shot put, second place in the javelin, and third place in the 400-meter race.

Ain Shams University student centers came in the forefront, outperforming the participating students from 40 Egyptian governmental and private universities and higher institutes, including male and female students and people of determination.
