Announcing the Ain Shams University competition prizes to prepare a marketing plan that keeps pace with the elements of transformation for the fourth generation universities

 

Under patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, the Graduate Studies and Research Sector headed by Prof. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, announced the winners of the competition which was announced by the sector to prepare a marketing plan that keeps pace with the transformation components of the fourth generation ASU G4 Transformation, which comes within the framework of the university’s interest in enhancing the competitiveness of education and scientific research in the country, and in the belief that the university’s digital transformation represents The main driver for all areas of the strategic plan set by the university with the aim of reaching an advanced international classification that keeps pace with the elements of transformation for fourth generation universities

Where the Faculty of Computers Science team won the prize, which amounted to 50 thousand pounds, and the team included: A. Ahmed Ezzat - Software Engineer, Dr. Nuran Ayman Assistant Lecturer - Software Engineer, Eng. Mai Hussein - Software Engineer - Electronic University of Ain Shams University.

The competition aims to improve the quality of the services provided, reduce the time and effort exerted, and reduce paper handling, especially in light of the precautionary measures taken by the university in light of the repercussions of the Coronavirus COVID 19, in addition to raising the level of scientific research by promoting the culture of innovation and creativity among the university community of Shams, and the provision of services Necessary to support the scientific research system at the university.

As well as increasing the rates of international publishing, especially in the journals and periodicals with a high impact factor included in the Scoupslist journal, as well as marketing the outputs of various scientific research at the university and outside it, and the involvement of different generations of faculty staff, the teaching assistants, researchers and students in joint work groups, in addition to encouraging distinguished and creative people from multiple scientific disciplines to prepare the marketing plan, which includes the university’s website and all social media platforms (Twitter, YouTube and Facebook) of the university in addition to marketing the services provided and supporting scientific research in its various forms, such as the Egyptian Knowledge Bank courses, the training and development center courses, and others.

 

The winning team submitted a proposal for a complete marketing plan that includes the university’s website, all social media platforms (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook ....) of the university with a report explaining the general idea and the proposed services to be provided to support the scientific research system at the university, explaining the tools, methods used and implementation mechanisms

The jury included: Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, Head of the Media Department - Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Dr. Tamer Mostafa, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers Science of Community and Environmental Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Office.
