The President of Ain Shams University inaugurates three electronic examination halls in Faculty of Al-Alsun

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated three new electronic halls at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, three electronic examination halls in Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, former university president, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Yasser Mujahid, Director of the Engineering Consultation Center at the university, Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nahid Hammouda, Secretary of the Faculty, and a group of faculty staff and assistants teaching.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, explained during his tour that the university administration inaugurated a second examination halls at Faculty of Al-Alsun, after the openings in the Faculty of Medicine, with the aim of enhancing the educational process and keeping pace with teaching methods and international tests, stressing that the Egyptian student deserves the highest educational levels in the world.

He pointed out that the three halls accommodate 759 students, it were completed in a record time that took 22 days, on a world-class model, equipped with the latest digital technologies to develop the educational process, and allowing full paper and electronic exams to be conducted simultaneously.

Pointing out that the equipment was implemented in accordance with the specifications set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for electronic exams at the level of Egyptian universities, where the Ministry of Higher Education is responsible for supplying computers so that the student can take the exam electronically, adding that hybrid exam halls will be equipped for regular and electronic exams. Together, it can accommodate seven thousand students on the campus of Ain Shams University, and it will end at the beginning of the next academic year.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, spare no effort in providing all the requirements that the faculty needs to develop the educational process to keep pace with the latest scientific methods in international universities, and to simulate global technological universities on Egyptian soil, with the aim of opening new horizons for new programs through global educational technology tools for Egyptian and foreign students at Ain Shams University.

She explained that the area of the halls is 2,200 meters, where what was existing was removed, new floors were made, 4 toilets were built, rooms for the information network, monitoring and sound systems, in addition to firefighting systems, 759 digital points in the seats, and gypsum ceilings and installation of exit gates against fire.

She explained that these halls are environmentally friendly, as they are equipped with an energy-saving vrp air-conditioning system in addition to natural LED lighting systems with a capacity of 4,000 Kelvin, as this was implemented within 22 working days by 350 workers 24 hours a day, by design and supervision of the engineering consultancy center at the university.
