This morning Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, inspects the second semester exams at the Faculty of Dentistry, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Karim El-Batouty, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Khalifa, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs. Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud commended the faculty administration’s application of all precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Covid 19 virus, as well as the application of social distancing rules within the committees and the obligation to wear masks at all times at the level of students, observers and faculty staff, as well as measuring temperatures for all students, workers and the faculty staff before entering the faculty and ensuring the continuous sterilization of the committees and corridors before the beginning of each exam period to ensure the safety of students, in addition to the extensive presence of security and civil defense personnel.
It is worth mentioning that the total number of students taking the exams for the second semester is 2,120, with 580 students in the first year divided into 21 committees, 490 students in the second year divided into 19 committees, 404 students in the third year divided into 16 committees, and 333 students in the fourth year divided into 13 committees, 305 students in the fifth year, divided into 12 committees. The rules of social distancing were applied by determining the number of students in the committee (25 students), provided that the distance between each student and the other is not less than two meters.
