The Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood launches “Make a Difference and Reject Abuse” campaign

“Make a Difference and Reject Abuse” (No to School Bullying) is a campaign slogan launched by the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Howaida Al-Gabali, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Behairy, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali said that the campaign aims to monitor cases of school bullying and psychological rehabilitation of bullied students, in addition to educating children about the dangers of bullying, noting that the campaign, which comes within the doctoral requirements for students of the Department of Media and Children's Culture, second level for the academic year 2020/2021.

She added that one of the basic conditions for obtaining a degree is the completion of practical training within the framework of the campaign, where each researcher is required to collect information on school bullying, monitor real cases of school bullying, then present the problem clearly, educate the child about the dangers of school bullying, and propose solutions to the problem and how to confront it. The psychological rehabilitation aspect of bullied students and bullies in three different schools.

Prof. Dr. Faten Al-Tanbari, Ahmed Hindi and Dr. Zainab Gouda are supervising the campaign and prepared by researchers Ahmed Sayed Al-Sharif, Nada Abdel Moneim Abdel Moneim, Fatima Nasser Salem, and Abdel Kader Abbas.
