(Masriqiya) magazine, issued by the Faculty of Girls, joins the DOAJ global database of open source magazines

In a new scientific achievement added to the list of achievements at Ain Shams University, the magazine (Masriqia), issued by the Faculty of Girls, joined the DOAJ global database of open source journals, which contains more than 16 thousand international refereed journals, stated by Prof. Dr. Roquia Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty.

She added that this is an important achievement that reflects positively on the international scientific publication of the magazine (Masriqia), as it provides access to it from millions of researchers worldwide.

On her part, Prof. Dr. Hanan Al-Shaer, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies, said that the International magazine (Masriqia) for Egyptian-African Studies was established a year ago and enjoys a wide response from researchers from outside Egypt, as it includes arbitrators and is published by researchers from a number of African, Arab and Egyptian universities.

Prof. Dr. Radwa Ramadan, Director of the Scientific Publishing Unit at the faculty, added that the journals that are accepted into the DOAJ database are subject to evaluation in light of accurate criteria, which is a real achievement for (Masriqiya) magazine.
