Ain Shams University students visit the book fair in its 52nd session under the slogan "Reading is life"
In the context of the interest of the General Command of the Armed Forces to raise the level of awareness and raise the spirit of loyalty and belonging among university students, and in the interest of Ain Shams University to raise the cultural and scientific level and educate its students in various fields of knowledge, the Popular and Military Defense Forces were organized in cooperation with Ain Shams University and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Abdel Gawad Allam, Director of the Military Education Department at Ain Shams University, a visit to the Cairo International Book Fair 2021 in its 52nd session under the slogan “Reading is life”
The tour began with a visit to the Ministry of Defense pavilion, in which the armed forces participate with books, publications, and historical and military publications in the exhibition, in the context of disseminating military and civil science and knowledge through the publications of the armed forces that deal with the ancient Egyptian military history.
In which the university students listened to a detailed explanation of the various departments of the wing and shed light on some prominent figures in the history of the Egyptian military, and some documentaries were reviewed on the most prominent maneuvers and exercises carried out by the armed forces, as well as a review of the role of the armed forces in various areas of development for the Egyptian state. And magazines for the various departments of the Ministry of Defense wing.
The visit concluded with a free tour of the university students inside the different pavilions of the book fair. The students expressed their happiness to participate in this visit and their pride in the achievements of the armed forces in the Ministry of Defense pavilion. The students also praised the exhibition and the efforts made in the current session in terms of the wonderful organization in the various pavilions.
