Harvest of Ain Shams University's comprehensive development convoy to Fayoum Governorate within one day

Ain Shams University's comprehensive development convoy for Fayoum Governorate concluded its work, amid widespread praise from the people of Al-Basyouniyah village, Fayoum Center, as well as all the executive, local and popular circles and leaders in the governorate.

In continuation of the series of convoys which is launched by Ain Shams University to various villages and regions of Egypt’s governorates, the university’s convoy to Fayoum Governorate succeeded in providing medical service to 1285 citizens of the village through clinics of nose, ear, ophthalmology, dermatology, general and internal surgery, heart, dermatology, children, women and obstetrics, as well as measuring the percentage of Sugar and pressure were provided to those who frequent the caravan clinics, and free treatment was given to 1,200 villagers through the caravan pharmacy, in coordination with the governorate’s health directorate.

         
   
         

The activities of the convoy witnessed a number of health awareness campaigns from doctors from the Department of Community Medicine and Health, which addressed awareness of breast cancer, how to prevent and self-disclosure, causes of anemia, methods of treatment and healthy food, as well as awareness of compulsory vaccinations from birth until the age of two years, as well as awareness of the Corona virus and the importance of receiving the vaccine. .

The activities of the convoy also included conducting a placement test for 169 citizens and coordinating the opening of literacy classes by contracting with Ain Shams University students, as well as distributing literacy certificates to 46 people who were free of illiteracy, in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education and the University’s Adult Education Center.

Mr. Suhail Hamza, Secretary-General of Ain Shams University, Assistant for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at Ain Shams University, had conducted an inspection tour of the convoy's work and reassurance of the delivery of masks for free to all who frequent the convoy and the application of all precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety of citizens and members of the convoy.
