Within the framework of the keenness of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, to extend bridges of constructive cooperation with major industrial and economic institutions, was signed by Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, representing Ain Shams University, a joint cooperation protocol with El-Araby Group for Trade and Industry, with the aim of expanding the base of services provided by the university to all its employees, including faculty members, assistant staff, administrators, workers and others.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud explained that it was agreed to provide a 3% discount on home appliances and air conditioners, and 5% on laptops, in addition to a 10% discount on watches, provided that this agreement is valid for one year, subject to renewal.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud valued El-Araby Group’s efforts in providing support and cooperation with Ain Shams University, where the El-Araby Group had previously contributed to the development and maintenance of various electrical devices in university cities and raising their efficiency, in order to ensure the continuation of the quality of services provided to students residing in university cities.
The Elaraby Group also concluded a cooperation protocol with Ain Shams University Alumni Association, which confirms the keenness of both sides to expand the base of beneficiaries of this cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud indicated that the university is discussing with El-Araby Group ways of joint cooperation through the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center; to support students’ ideas and projects and link them to the labor market, as well as to cooperate with the aim of supporting the ideas of students, researchers and faculty members who are innovators to create innovative ideas that contribute to the development of Elaraby Group’s products and are applicable and implementable, in addition to discussing the possibility of opening an office for Elaraby Group within the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to facilitate Communication and exchange of visions and ideas between the two sides, and the possibility of providing job opportunities for students, as well as adopting innovative entrepreneurs from university students and graduates through the investment arm of the El-Araby Group.
The Council of Ain Shams University was headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini sent a letter of thanks to Eng. Medhat Mahmoud El-Araby, Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors of El-Araby Group, for his support to the Education and Student Affairs Sector and his donation of free comprehensive maintenance of various devices in the university city. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, stated, earlier, in a cordial meeting with a high-level delegation from the El-Araby Group headed by Eng. Medhat Mahmoud El-Araby, who presented him with the Shield of the Education and Students Sector and the University Medal; in appreciation of the role of Al-Arabi Group in cooperating with the university, he also gave him a copy of the Saffron Palace book, which documents the ancient history of the palace, which was and still is a witness to great events as the headquarters of the ancient university administration.
