The Faculty of Pharmacy hosts a workshop to raise the capabilities of faculty staff in scientific research

Within the framework of cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr.. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, a workshop was organized by the university in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which is represented by Dr. Ola Lawrence, consultant of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, and Dr. Mohamed Raed, a consultant for research intelligence in Africa, to raise the efficiency and capabilities of faculty staff and researchers in the field of writing scientific research in all disciplines at the faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and a number of faculty staff and the assistants teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, confirmed that the workshop comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which is being applied to the rest of the university’s faculties sequentially with the aim of shedding light on the services provided by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank to raise the level of scientific research through the issuance of new scientific journals to match with the international standards, in addition to assisting researchers in editing scientific articles before publishing them in international scientific journals and periodicals.

Prof. Dr. Amani Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, confirmed that the workshop aims to raise the university’s ranking globally, by developing the skills of faculty staff in writing research and publishing it in international journals.

She also commended the full cooperation of the university administration in developing the faculty laboratories in line with the continuous technological progress.

While Dr. Ola Lawrence, a consultant to the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, confirmed that Egyptian universities entered the international rankings strongly, and rose from 3 universities to become 22 universities so far at the level of the Republic.
