Graduation Project Ceremony for Students of the Credit Hours Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a ceremony to discuss graduation projects for fifth-level students in the credit hours program (for the academic year 2020/2021) under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amani Osama, Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Dr. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Othman Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Rola Milad Labib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Ahmed Abu Zaid, Coordinator of the Credit Hours Program at the Faculty, and Dr. Nermin Victor, Deputy Coordinator of the Credit Hours Program.

Prof. Dr. Amani Osama, Dean of the Faculty, in her opening speech at the ceremony, expressed her gratitude to the supervisors and students who performed these difficult tasks in these projects and continued to complete them under the conditions of the spread of the new Corona virus, and thanked the credit hours program coordinators, and also welcomed the guest of the celebration, Dr. Amgad Talaat, director of Eva Pharma, who was keen to attend the project discussion ceremony, which includes 9 drug design projects at the highest level, stressing that Eva Pharma is among the most important companies seeking to reach the ranks of international pharmaceutical companies in the field of research and development.

         
   
         

Dr. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that the celebration and project discussions highlight the best of the students' abilities, adding that the college always strives to maintain the level of students in the credit hours program, congratulating the students' families, describing them as becoming an example that their professors are proud of.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Zaid, coordinator of the credit hours program at the faculty, said that the administration of the program had gone through a difficult period that overcame all the obstacles it faced to cross the system from the repercussions of the Corona pandemic and the conditions of remote work and maintaining the scientific level of students to present honorable projects. Scientific and moral excellence.

The celebration activities included a presentation of the graduation projects for students of the drug design program at the fifth level in the college. At the end of the activities, the best project and the best presentation and presentation of the scientific materials for the projects were announced.

It is worth noting that most of the student's research is in the review stage in international refereed journals with a high impact factor in Scopus.
