Activities of the third day of Science Week at the Faculty of Girls

The activities of the third day of the Science Week, which was organized by the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, from 25-28 July 2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Rukaia Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, held the first international conference for the Education and Student Affairs Sector at the Faculty, which was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rukaia Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The conference activities included 4 sessions, the first session entitled "The Most Important Features of Fourth Generation Universities to Enhance Future Skills: Challenges and Hopes."

   
   

Session head: Prof. Dr. Amal Attia Al-Mursi Ibrahim, professor in the Department of Zoology at the faculty, during which the challenges of fourth-generation universities were addressed in light of the Corona pandemic - the Egyptian model that Prof. Dr. Hanan Gouda Elhais, director of the e-learning unit at the faculty, as well as Dr. Ahmed Ma'ajon Al-Andazi, Dean of E-Learning - Northern Border University - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spoke about the challenges of fourth generation universities in light of the Corona pandemic - the Saudi model.

As for the second session of the conference, entitled Innovation and Creativity, headed by Prof. Dr. Suoad Ahmed Abdullah - Professor of Botany at the Faculty, Session Rapporteur: Dr. Aya Radi, Teacher of Physics Department at the Faculty and Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Office, during which M. Louay Maher of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” unit spoke in. The student participation "She Creates" were presented in the first competition for innovation and entrepreneurship in the faculty. The student Marwa Samir also participated in the session, "The Innovation, Entrepreneurship Club and Young Entrepreneur Industry"

The activities of the second session included holding a discussion session on the pillars and challenges of university student creativity, with the participation of the session chair with each of the Prof. Neven Assem, Professor at the College and Director of the Training and Development Center at the University, Dr. Wiam Mahmoud, teacher at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university and female students: Iman El-Sayed - Aziza Massad - Mary

   
   

As for the third session, entitled “The Psychological Construction of the Creative Personality,” headed by Prof. Dr. Naela Hassan Faeq, Professor of Psychology in the Department of Child Education, during which Dr. Ahmed Haroun Shahn, the creative energy (workshop), and Ms. Mohaja Qinawy talked about mental and creative personality maps (workshop). Sheikh Ahmed Turk also spoke about creative education and innovation.

And the last session, "a simulation model", was presented in which a simulation model of the Egyptian parliament was presented, with the participation of students Nada Sharif - Rahma Hamdi - Salsabil Mahmoud

The events also included the presentation of the distinguished graduation projects from the various departments of the college and the exhibition of artistic drawings and handicrafts held on the sidelines of the conference from the work of the college students.
