The Employment Center at Ain Shams University organizes two workshops on the Employment Skills and Career Guidance Program at the Faculty of Arts

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, in coordination with Prof. Dr. Rasha El-Didi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and the supervisor of the Department of Psychology, the University Employment Center organizes an introductory lecture on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 12-2 pm in Hall 120 at the Faculty of Arts at the university in preparation for the presentation of two workshops as follows:

First: Employment Skills Program

Which helps students develop their skills to meet the demands of the labor market, this program will introduce students to the basic skills for job acceptance through a 5-step journey:

1- Discovering personal values that influence a person's behavior

2- How to communicate effectively in the workplace

3- How to present myself and my ideas professionally

4- How to write a CV, pass interviews and search for jobs

5- Team work

The duration of the program is 5 days, from Sunday to Thursday, August 8-12, from 10 am to 4 pm

Second: Career Guidance Program

Nowadays we live in a life full of challenges where choosing the right profession has become a struggle, confusing between satisfaction and success, and not knowing where to start, the three days program will help you to know the basic steps of how to start the entire career decision process, with gaining insights and awareness of the factors that influence on this decision.

The duration of the program is 3 days from Sunday - Tuesday 8-10 August from 10 am to 3 pm

All lectures and workshops offered by the Career Center are free for university students and graduates, provided that attendance is required

Participants receive digital certificates of attendance after completing the program
