Ain Shams University announces developing a website to apply for international publishing costs support

Ain Shams University announced the development of an application support the costs of international publication. The faculty staff can obtain financial support through a website launched for this purpose; It comes under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Director of the Electronic Portal Project, in coordination with Dr. El-Gowhari El-Saeed Attia, assistant professor at the Faculty of Science and a member of the International Publication Committee.

Where Ain Shams University continues its research efforts to support the costs of international publication of research published in Q1 journals, as part of its keenness to encourage scientific research and international publication, and urge the largest number of researchers and faculty staff at Ain Shams University to produce scientific research and publish it in prestigious scientific referee journals, given the great role that international scientific publishing plays in raising the university’s global ranking.

It is noteworthy that the president of the university had agreed on 9/12/2020 that the university would bear the cost of publishing in Q1 magazines for faculty staff and the teaching assistants (assistant teachers – lecturers) only, provided that the journal’s approval for publication was submitted, through the following link: https://www.asu.edu.eg/international-publication-costs
