Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, received a delegation from Jordan's Jerash University, including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Al-Hawamdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jerash University, Prof. Dr. Imad Muhammad Rabie, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Walid Halloush, Assistant President of Jerash University for Public Relations and Marketing, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amani Osama, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Sherout Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Immigrants Department at Ain Shams University.
The meeting comes to discuss means of joint cooperation between the two sides in the academic field.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh on the depth of the strong relations between the two countries, welcome to cooperate with Jerash University, within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness on openness and cooperation with all external parties.
He added that it is possible to cooperate with the University of Jordan in a comprehensive framework by concluding a cooperation agreement between the two sides, as well as cooperation in less comprehensive fields such as the exchange of professors, scientific conferences and joint supervision in the fields of scientific research.
It is worth mentioning that during the meeting, information was exchanged about the educational systems used in the two universities, methods of admission and expatriates, as well as a review of study programs in different faculties and methods of preparing students.
The two parties also shed light on the international classification of the two universities, and the relationship between the programs offered by the university and the labor market.
Visions were also exchanged on ways of joint cooperation that serve the interests of both sides, which will start immediately after the procedures for obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged gifts and captured souvenir photos.
