Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Hala Mosheer, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, congratulates the students (Isaac Morris Habib Shafiq, Mustafa Ahmed Mustafa Ahmed Al-Badawi, Islam Mohsen Mohamed Ibrahim Mahrous) for winning first place in the Egyptian Programming Competition for Egyptian University Students Egypt CPC, which was held at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria from 20 to 28 August 2021.
Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, witnessed the conclusion of the competition activities. 15 teams out of 81 teams, representing the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University, qualified at the end of the competition.
The students of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Ain Shams University, won three places out of the top ten, where the college team (Isaac Morris Habib Shafiq, Mustafa Ahmed Mustafa Ahmed Al-Badawi, Islam Mohsen Mohamed Ibrahim Mahrous) won the first place, and the college team (Rahman Sayed Abdel Fattah Ahmed Abdelaziz) Mustafa Abdul Aziz Muhammad, Abdul Rahman Ahmed, Ahmed Muhammad Othman) ranked fifth, and the team (Hazem Yahya Mahmoud Essawi, Ziyad Muhammad Hussain Khbeiz, Abdul Rahman Ahmad Sayed Kamel Muhammad) ranked ninth.
This year, 1,186 teams with a total of 5,000 students participated in the competition, representing 72 different Egyptian colleges. Eligible for the World Programming Contest.
