Faculty of Alsun holds literacy exams on Mondays of every week

The Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, hosts a committee to conduct literacy exams, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision of the General Authority for Adult Education, headed by Prof. Dr. Ashour Omari, head of the commission, every Monday from ten in the morning until one in the afternoon, in the presence of the commission's coordinators to ensure the proper conduct of exams and organization.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, explained that this initiative launched by the General Authority for Adult Education came after the announcement of the victory of Egypt represented by Ain Shams University, in partnership with the General Authority for Adult Education, with the UNESCO Prize for Adult Education 2021, and the issuance of a decision by the university administration under the directives of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of the University of Community Service and Environmental Development, agreed to facilitate the necessary steps to complete the fourth year student’s graduation requirement and to ensure the application of preventive measures to confront the repercussions of the new corona virus covid19, by providing places to hold exams within the seven theoretical faculties participating in the national campaign to eradicate illiteracy.

         
   
         

On her part, Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the faculty has already hosted about 27 illiterate people, divided into two committees, to hold their exams under the supervision of the coordinators of the General Authority for Adult Education, after taking several proactive steps in cooperation with the Department of Security, Civil Defense, and Occupational Safety and Health, to organize The process of entering and exiting examinees, sterilizing the committees and maintaining complete calm during the periods of their sessions.
