The Faculty of Alsun receives a preventive medicine campaign to vaccinate its students against the emerging corona virus covid19

The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University received the expanded medical campaign launched by the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, in the first steps to confront the expected fourth wave of the emerging corona virus covid19, and its variants, to implement a proactive plan to confront the repercussions of the virus during the events of the new academic world 2021-2022.

Where Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, issued a decision to provide all capabilities to implement a tight plan to provide vaccines to all university students, before the beginning of the new academic year, and he formed a higher committee under the supervision of a preventive medical team headed by Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Director of Hospitals, and Head of the Infection Control Unit at the university, to implement an expanded deployment process by specialized medical teams equipped with all the necessary capabilities to save vaccines from cars equipped with refrigerators to store vaccine packages, and spread them in the university’s faculties to vaccinate all its employees in their workplaces to ensure that the work wheel is not disrupted, In addition to saving time and effort for university members and not crowding them in one place.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, confirmed that the faculty administration has coordinated with the infection control unit of Ain Shams University Hospitals, to receive the medical team and divide the students of the second, third and fourth year of the faculty into lists over several days to vaccinate them in the faculty according to the intensive precautionary measures, provided that the students are vaccinated Newcomers with the periodic medical examination stage while submitting their papers to avoid large gatherings.

Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, and Mrs. Nahed Hammouda, Secretary of the Faculty, was in the reception of the medical team, and was assured that all necessary preparations had been taken in coordination with the various departments of the Faculty from Civil Defense and Administrative Security, in cooperation with the Faculty Students’ Union, to ensure the quality of organizing the entry and exit of students from the vaccination hall.

She explained that the students of the English and French departments were vaccinated, and their number reached about 173 male and female students.
