Educational seminars and awareness campaigns during the convoy of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood in Al-Mosky district

"Skills of Dealing with Children" and "Problems of Adolescence", the first symposium of the comprehensive medical and awareness convoy directed to children with special needs and their families, which is organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector in Al-Moski district, on Tuesday, September 21, at ten o'clock in the morning, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, University President, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Howaida Al-Jabali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, and the organization and supervision of Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal Abdel Raouf, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environment Affairs.

A group of doctors and specialists from the Special Needs Care Center of the faculty provides many medical services free of charge in various specialties, including neurological diseases in children, psychiatry and speech, ultrasound on the heart to detect congenital defects and valve problems, sound waves on the brain and abdomen in children, detecting motor disabilities, measuring the level of intelligence, detecting learning difficulties, autism, behavior modification, family counseling, self-care and skills development.

A series of seminars will also be held to provide, guide and educate parents and how to deal with children socially, psychologically, behaviorally and educationally. Prof. Dr. Ehab Eid, Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Studies at the faculty will present a symposium on “Skills of the Art of Parenting: Let’s Be Kind to Our Children,” and Prof. Dr. Manal Omar, Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry will present Medical studies at the faculty will present a symposium entitled “A psychological view of our children in schools”, while Prof. Dr. Hoda Jamal, professor and head of the Department of Psychological Studies at the faculty will present a symposium entitled “Adolescence problems and ways to deal with them.”, Prof. Dr. Enas Rady, Professor of Psychology, Department of Psychological Studies at the faculty, is discussing a symposium on "bullying in children".

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Halim, professor of media from the Department of Media and Child Culture at the faculty, participates in presenting a symposium on "Mechanisms for guiding children to conscious interaction with the media."

Professors specialized in child care at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Childhood will also present a series of awareness campaigns on the art of dealing with different types of children through medical, social, psychological, behavioral and educational axes, where Dr. Walaa Rajab will address the behavioral problems of children and how to deal with them.

Dr. Randa Kamal will also discuss the prevention of genetic diseases and birth defects, while Dr. Amal Abdel Mawla will address “my child's problems between understanding and solution, modern methods of education, and the natural development of the child, which will be presented by Dr. Reham Sabry.
