Faculty of Sciences continues the campaign of vaccinations against Covid 19 for students, faculty staff and employees

The Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University continues its campaign to vaccinate students, faculty staff and employee, as part of the expanded campaign launched by Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Rajaa, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development at the faculty, where the Center for Consultation and Scientific Studies (formerly the Photovoltaic Energy Center) was equipped as a point to receive the vaccine at the faculty, stated by Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development.

         
   
         

She added that faculty members and students will be vaccinated against the Corona virus before the new academic year begins next month, noting that the faculty continues its vaccination campaign, which began on Sunday, 5/9/2021, and will continue until all students enrolled in the faculty are vaccinated at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Chairman of the Preventive Supervision Committee Prof. Dr. Amani Zaki, members of the committee, the director of the medical center/ Dr. Ayman Nazeer, the IT unit at the faculty, and the staff of the Consultation Center Participated in the campaign.

         
   
         

It is worth noting that Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, had issued a decision earlier to provide all capabilities to implement a plan to provide vaccines to all university students before the beginning of the new academic year, and formed a higher committee, under the supervision of a preventive medical team headed by Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Director of Hospitals and Head of the Infection Control Unit at the university, to implement a wide spread process by specialized medical teams equipped with all the necessary capabilities to save vaccines from cars equipped with refrigerators to store vaccine packages, and spread them in the university faculties to vaccinate all its students and workers in their workplaces to facilitate everyone and ensure the continuity of Work within the university and its faculties and administration.
